Leryn Dahiana Franco Steneri, Paraguayan model as well as an athlete was born on 1st March 1982, in Asuncion, Paraguay.

She simultaneously tries her career in modeling and athletics. During the Beijing Olympics, she specialized herself in javelin throw and became an ultimate sensation.

She has achieved more fame for her modeling beauty rather than the athletic ability.

Leryn Franco was raised up in Asuncion, the Capital city of Paraguay and broke the national record for both triple jump and javelin in 1998 for under 17 age group. In 2001, the South American Junior Championship javelin title was won by her and in 2001, she became the under 23 South American Champion. In the World Championship of 2003, she stood 24th and at the Athens Olympics out of 45 she ranked 42nd. In 2007 at Rio de Janeiro, she gave her best performance by finishing 12th in the Pan American Games.

In the meanwhile, she also kept her modeling career going. In 2006, at the Miss Paraguay Pageant competition, Leryn was crowned as the runner up and she also took part in the Miss Bikini Universe Pageant. With photographer Martin Crespo, Leryn had her first calendar in 2007 as well as a sizzling calendar in 2009.

In December 2009, Leryn was ranked 6th in “The 40 Hottest Female Athletes of the Decade” by the Bleacher Report. After that the Bleacher Report was upgraded in August 2010 and she ranked 1st in “The 100 Hottest Athletes of all time”.

Participated twice in the Olympics, Leryn Franco is a very well known model-cum-javelin thrower from Paraguay. According to Leryn, to continue her sports ambitions, modeling in flexible hours is the best prospect for her.
