The right to environmental information of Paraguay makes Paraguayan people know about environmental information detained by public and government authorities.

Every human being has the right to live in a ecologically balanced and healthy environment. These objectives will guide the Paraguayan government policy and also legislation.

The activities which are likely to cause the harm to the environment are regulated by law, it can govern as well as prohibit those which are dangerous. Prohibits the manufacture, import, assembly, import, use or marketing, possession of biological, chemical and nuclear, as well as the introduction of toxic waste in the country. The law can make this prohibition larger to other harmful; also manage the traffic of genetic technology and resources, safeguarding the national interests.

The right of information of Paraguay states that everyone has the right individually or collectively to demand that public authorities measures for  the integrity of habitat, consumer interests, national cultural heritage, environmental protection, public health, and other than legal nature belonging to the community and make regarding the quality of life and collective heritage.
